Traits like kindness and empathy go a long way in this industry, as you’ll be providing sensitive services to elderly residents of your community. You’ll want to build a reputation for home care that seniors and their families truly trust and depend on, so bringing positive energy and a compassionate approach to this industry will really help you stand out.

To figure out if you have the ideal owner profile for one of our home care franchises, it’s also important to consider the financial side of things. The total investment required to start your own home care franchise in 2025 is between  $149,000 and $201,000. These figures are inclusive of all start-up costs, including an initial franchise fee of $55,000, travel and accommodation costs during your initial training, deposits for the lease, utilities, and security, furnishings and computer systems, marketing costs, permits, licenses, insurance, staffing and recruitment, as well as three months total operating costs for your first three months.

In addition to these start-up costs, you’ll also need to factor in ongoing fees for running your home care franchise.
