IAHSA-China and U.S. Commercial Service Event

IAHSA-China, the official chapter of the International Association of Homes and Services for the Ageing in China, and the United States Commercial Service are pleased to announce presentations by Amy Petersen-Smith, Vice President of International Development at Senior Helpers and Ben Shobert, Founder and Managing Director, Rubicon Strategy Group.

 

Amy has been qualified as a Dementia Care Professional by the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, a Certified Trainer by the Second Wind Dreams on the Virtual Dementia Tour, and has a true passion for educating others on the effects of dementia and how we as a society can make changes to be more accepting and empathetic. Her presentation is titled “In-home care giving best practices – Dementia and Parkinson’s.”

 

Ben’s specialized strategy firm is focused on China and Southeast Asia’s healthcare, aging, and life sciences sectors. Ben is affiliated with the National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR), a leading think tank, to advise on aging, healthcare reforms, and the pharmaceutical industry in China. He is also a member of the National Committee on US-China Relations. His work on these sectors has been featured in popular media including CNBC, China Business Review, Fortune Magazine, Harvard Asia Quarterly, CCTV, CNBC Asia, CNN, ABC World News, and Forbes. Ben will share his perspective on “What is working and what is not working in China’s senior care sector.”

国际养老产业协会(中国)及美国驻上海总领事馆商务处专题讲座活动通知

国际养老产业协会(中国 及 美国驻上海总领事馆商务处很荣幸邀请到Senior Helpers 国际运营副主席Amy Petersen-Smith 与Rubicon Strategy Group的创办人及总经理Ben Shobert开展专题讲座。

Amy 是一位经美国阿尔茨海默氏症基金会认证的失智症护理专家。同时,她也在Virtual Dementia Tour中担任the Second Wind Dreams 项目的专业培训师。Amy 热衷于宣传关于失智症的病症影响及社会应如何改变以达到对失智症患者更加理解和宽容。她的演讲专题为“居家护理的最佳实践——失智症及帕金森症”。

Ben的公司专注于中国及东南亚地区的医疗保健、老龄化以及生命科学等领域。 他所在的全国亚洲问题研究所 (NBR),引领着中国的关于老龄化、医疗保健改革和制药行业等领域的新思潮。同时,Ben也是国家中美关系协会的会员之一。他在这些领域的实践,已被报道于各大新闻媒体上,包括CNBC,《商界:中国商业评论》,《财富》,《哈佛亚洲季刊》,中央电视台, CNBC 亚洲台,CNN, ABC World News和《福布斯》。Ben 就“中国老年护理领域的可行与不可行之处”将与会嘉宾分享经验和心得。
