Senior Helpers Franchise In-Person Training: What to Expect?

February 15, 2023 By Rob Cantrell

If you’re excited about the prospect of owning an in-home care franchise but lack the know-how or experience to confidently run this type of business, there’s no need to worry. Senior Helpers® franchise in-person training is designed to help you get up to speed on industry best practices and develop the skills needed to run a thriving business in senior care.

Our in-person training consists of a 60+ hour program conducted over a period of six days at our corporate headquarters in Towson, Maryland. This phase of new franchisee training can only be initiated after the completion of 55 hours of online training. Once you’ve acquired a solid foundation of knowledge through your remote training, you’ll be ready to take on the more advanced topics that arise during the in-person training process.

An Introduction to Senior Helpers Franchise In-Person Training

As a franchise brand with over 300 locations across the country, we know many new franchisees feel anxious about stepping into the role of a business owner with the responsibility of managing the care of vulnerable elderly adults. Our in-person training program is designed to relieve this anxiety and prepare you for what lies ahead. That way, you can hit the ground running when your business opens and start providing high-quality support for older individuals from day one.

We believe this in-depth training is essential to the success of our franchisees, which is why all of the direct costs for classroom training are covered as part of the initial franchise fee. However, it’s important to note that franchisees are responsible for any indirect costs related to classroom training, such as travel and living expenses, which range from $1,500 to $3,000 on average.

Topics Covered in Senior Helpers Franchise Classroom Training
