What is a Franchise Territory?

You can think of choosing a territory as defining both the location of your business and the area in which you will be delivering your services. You may be curious about how franchise territories are determined, and how different Senior Helpers franchise locations avoid competing with each other for clients. We have implemented a protected service area system as part of our designation of franchise territories.

Each service area is made up of specific ZIP codes, providing a clear-cut definition of where each franchisee can provide services. When creating these service areas, we ensure that each territory covers a minimum of 30,000 residents aged 65 or older. Upon purchasing your territory, your business will gain the exclusive right to market and deliver Senior Helpers home care services to families in the given range of ZIP codes.

There are a few investments associated with purchasing a franchise territory. The main investment is the franchise fee. For a single territory, our franchise fee is $55,000. The total investment for purchasing a franchise will range between $127,800 and $171,800. , depending on geographical location, office lease expense, employee wages, and leasehold improvements.
